Changing Frames
I have a 76 ford f250 4wheel drive. I was wondering what problems i would run into if i wanted to swap frames with a 78 ford fram. I am able to get my hands on a 78 frame because i would like to get a bigger gas tank in the back plus redue the frame. My 76 body is in great conditions, so i just want to swap everthing over to the other frame.
How hard would this be or what problems would i run into.
Plus i would like to keep the same lift that is on my 76.

Changing Frames
you might want to check the Width of the spring perches on your axles vs the 78. Or measure the width of the frame rails as I think the 76 has a narrower frame. If true..the spring perchs will have to be moved out further out. also, the width of the spring leafs maybe wider for 78 than for 76. fd
