turn signals

My 76 f150's turn signals are not working! I did some research and found that the light sockets being bad could cause this. I looked at all my sockets, and only one of them has corrosion on it. So i figured that was my problem.... Until I turned on the hazard lights. When the hazard lights are on, the lights flash on all 4 corners. So i am guessing that the sockets aren't the problem. What could it be? My dad said that is a 'flasher' but i did not see one.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thats exactly what my 79 did and it ended up being the flasher. A easy way to check is to switch the flasher from the hazards and if it starts working again you know you found your problem. Good luck.

There are two flasher units. They are located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Originally one was clipped onto the body above the e-brake.
