351w block weight?
Okie-dokie!!! I bought a scale, it was cheap and I was curious.
I have a stock 351W out of a 1992 F 150, it is dirty, not excessive but not clean, and it has the cam bearings in the block, (but no cam) that weights 147 lbs., 7 oz.
My performance 351W weighed 254 before I put it in the truck this weekend (aluminum heads). Eventually, I'll take out the tranny and let you know what that weights as well.

clean tranny, no fluid, no torque converter or transfer case = 202.5 lbs.
Had I weighed it before I lifted it from the car to the garage, I don't think I would have been able to move it. Really surprised me to find out how much it weighed.
