Parts Swap?

Will any of the parts interchange between a 239 & 292 Y-blocks? I'm wanting to use a newer 2 barrel intake from a 292 on a 239 block. THANKS

Parts Swap?

Intake will not fit 239 heads, however you can install later heads and intake together. Then you have to change the distributor, drive gear, oil pump and drive rod so you can use a modern carb.

A lot easier to find a 272-292 and drop it in and then just match dizzy with the carb/intake.

Thanks for your reply. I guess for know, I'll rebuild the old carb on the 239 & stick with it until I rebuild the 292. Thanks for the info.
