I just signed up and am new to this so bare with me.I have A 1993 F-350 dually diesel pick up,I think the rear end is the Ford model and not the Dana. The problem is when the truck is on jack stands and one wheel is turned the other wheel goes the same way.I thought it should go the oppisite, maybe not .Can any one help.
You may have a limited slip. That would explain everything.
Oh, is the truck in gear when you conduct this test? Obviously not if you can turn both tires the same way.
Put the truck in gear and try the test. One tire should go forward and one back if the driveline cannot turn. If you can't turn the tires then it may have a limited slip or locker.
Hope this helps. Pm me if you don't understand. I usually don't check this forum too often.
