In the process of removing my dual wheels, i came across a gem of a single rear wheel bed with no rust. Only problem is that it was only a single tank bed (front). has anyone ever added a fuel door? I cant see that it would be that hard, just cut one out at the JY and tack it in place, some mud, and good to go. Anyone that has done this have any pics? Anyone with dual tanks care to make a few measurements so I can properly locate mine when i do it? Thanks in advance.
Either way, I will document it well with pics and do a write up when the time comes

Reason: added something
If you're not real picky about how it looks, check out an aftermarket locking fuel door that folks install instead of locking caps for security. My longbed truck has one over the original hole in the back. It just rivets on. I started another thread on this same subject for my stepside project truck, but I have the added complication of fiberglass fenders Check out that thread for more ideas
lucky finding that bed! your plan sounds right to me. I have dual tanks on my parts bed. I can't really get out there right now to measure though as I've just had some shoulder surgery.
If no one else comes in I should be able to get you the dimensions by next weekend.
