The drivers side power seat in my 1995 Ford Explorer does not work. The passenger seat works fine. I checked the fuses in the fuse box and it is ok. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Joyce
You got me there, I am just a single mom trying to save some money I don't have for car repairs. I don't know what either of those things are or where they are located. I am a bit mechanically inclined so if is pretty easy I could check it out if you could give me an idea where to look. My 5' 11'' daughter took the car to the store and now her 5'5 " mother can't reach the pedals to drive it. Appreciate your help.

The switch is what you're pushing to try to move the seat. The "actuator" is the motor under the seat that actually makes it move. If you buy a $12 Haynes manual (available at most parts stores), it'll show the fuse/CB that protects that circuit. Your owner's manual will have that info, too, but the Haynes has a lot more.
