I'm in for one. Possibly two. I will verify that my F-150 is the same gear box, but I'm 99.9% sure they are the same box between the F-150 and F-250.

1. indyf-350psd - 2 units....
2. duck fan - 1 unit...
3. hastranger - 1 unit
4. Saz2686 - 1 unit
5. LWW - 1 unit
6. texas5.0 - 1 unit
7. green 69 - 1 unit...
8. felntpsy - 1 unit...
9. njneer1 - 1 unit...
10.strokin'_tatsch- 1 unit, possibly 2 units

Since this is something 'uncommon' least I havent done anything to it.
Does the steering box include the PS fluid reservoir. becuz I have probably added PS fluid to my truck...3 times over the last year and was curious if a new box would fix that.

I just get stupid whine when my fluid gets low... i havent had steering problems.

i dont know how it is on OBS trucks but on the super duty the pump is not part of the steering box.....2 seperate items....i imagine its probably the same for you....

The ps reservoir is attached to the ps pump. If you have ps fluids in it you should put atf in it though.

It will fix the play in the steering but not necessarily the"fight" unless your box is really that bad. Did you put on the track bar and sway bar? How about a steering stabilizer?

Is there something special about these boxes that make them different from the standard parts store boxes?

I have a fair bit of play in mine and would consider this...

Richard

EDT: does this include return shipping of the core?

Red Head boxes should quite a bit higher quality than something we can pick up at the parts store. I haven't used a Red Head unit before, but if what everyone says is true, they are great units.
