What is shacking?

I replaced the ball joints, the u-joints, and the tires and i still get a terrible vibration once I hit 50 mph. The faster I go the worse it gets. I rotated the tires and even swapped tires with my buddy and it didn't help. The weird part is that if I take my foot off of the accelerator when it is shaking the vibration gets twice as bad and if i take it out of gear it really gets bad. I also noticed that once I get to about 60mph the speedo starts jumping all over the place but the truck doesn't seem to be changing speed. It feels like the vibration is coming from the front because I can feel it in the wheel but I can also feel it in my feet on the floor. I'm lost and don't know what to check next. Thank in advance for any suggestions or advice. By the way truck is a 1991 f250 with a 5.0 and a Mazda 5 speed. 4X4

It sounds to me like you should take a look at your transmission.

U-joints. When you have load on them they tend to stay in line. Once the load comes off and they are loose, the ends will float and knock, bang, and slip out of line with each other.

Check underneath on both shafts. If you have one bad replace ALL of them because the rest ain't far behind.

I believe in the original post he stated that he replaced the u-joints.

What is shacking?

I checked the fluid levels in the transmission and transfer case. The treansfer case was fine but the transmission was 2 1/2 quarts low. Filled it up problem is still there. Seems to be leaking where the transmission and the transfer case bolt together. Is there a seal there that I can just replace. My question now is how do I tell if the tranfer case in in need of repair? I can turn either drive shaft and it makes noise in the tranfer case and also feels a little sloppy to me. Is this ok? I have never done any kind of work to a transfer case so I'm not sure what to look for. Thanks for the help.
