Oil pressure sensor

1993 Bronco 351. Where is the oil pressure sensor located? Believe mynes going bad, as the gauge goes crazy at lower RPM. Highly doubt that im having any kind of oil pressure issues.

What weight of oil does ford recomend for the Windosor motors? I knew it used to be 10-30, but i remember reading ford changed there recomendation for oils in all there engines to 5-20 some time back.

Any truth to that?

The sender is above the oil filter screwed into the block. Removing the air intake from over radiator into the air box helps with access.

I suggest replacing with a 1/4 X 6' brass nipple then attach tubing to it for a mechanical gauge. Might as well do a mechanical temp gauge while you are at it. There have been volumes written here about the lack of information the OEM oil pressure gauge provides.

I know 5W can be uses in my '94, first year will roller tappets. Don't know about '93 though.
