So what did you do to your 6.0L today?
Truck Carlisle
Put about 250 miles on the truck. Took it out to Truck Carlisle in Carlisle Pa.
Then went out to Buck Pa to watch the diesel pickup Powerfest series.

Ford had a representative there to help owners of the 7.3 6.0 and 6.4 Powerstroke. Check out the engine on the side of the trailer.

Just downloaded the schedule. 2 hr drive isn't too bad for me. I'm off that weekend and I think my son would get a kick out of it so as of now I'm in for the 10th.
They also have mini truck drag races. The 6.0s do pretty well in those.
.
Heck, maybe I'll hook the 5er up and make it a camping weekend. Any local campgrounds in that area you recommend?
I'm months away from 40 so I'm just a kid ol' timer! I've been to tractor pulls but they were real tractors at a fairgrounds. Nothing like described. It will be a good change since we normally frequent the dragstrip.

I did see some campers in the Buck parking area, it's pretty big and you park on the grass. Not sure they let you do overnight.
I looked around a little. The best I found, or the one I would consider is Susquehannock State Park just off 372 and right down the road from the Buck. There are some nice flat spots and pretty easy in and out.

For on topic, (yesterday now) I washed it to start. Then when I started it the AC defaulted to defrost so it must of developed a vacuum leak somewhere. Once the pump pulled vacuum it went right back to vents. No big deal really but something to do.
That's putting in nicely Shawn!😎 They sure we're all rusted up and covered with black spray paint........the drivers side started leaking & spotting the garage floor. They sure look like crap.
I didn't notice a huge difference after doing the rear shocks while driving unloaded. Dually's & F-350's can be a bit stiff unloaded anyway. Should feel a difference after I hook the camper up tomorrow.
But when new ones went on the front a couple of weeks ago that made a noticeable improvement and my slight steering drift to the right seems to be gone.
The rear passenger side was so shot it didn't even extend when I took it off.....😱

I upgraded my HFCM drain plug. Replaced a fuel return line from the secondary fuel filter housing. Drained my transmission pan, dropped it to replace the internal filter and tran. pan gasket. Replaced the external filter (had to break it loose with a impact gun) and filled her up with fresh Mercon SP. Now it's time to give her a bath! Just hit 60k miles and have owned her for about 6,000 miles. I now have all my baselines for scheduled maintenance.
