I guess the rod wanted a better view! (Windowed the block). Maybe it is a race engine, and it is ridding it self of excess weight for speed!

Adjust the Red line on your tuner, and put your foot in it! However the dealer will see it over revved. So you will still be screwed!

I heard that if I disconnect both batteries it will erase all memory ??

I can not confirm this! Don't vehicles after 2000 have a "black box" in them?

Why did you want to window the block anyways, Gerry? Aren't You selling it? If that is the case, let it be, It won't be worth more with a new engine, as they will just put another 6.0 in it. LOL
Why all the editing? Change of heart?

Your telling me!! Pics on the net or books don't do it justice. It's amazing the tolerances involved. Shouldn't be too hard, just gotta cut down the carbide coated plunger and coated oil piston, then make shims between .020-.030" thick depending on how much fuel volume your shooting for.
