Might want to think about whether you really want to move up to anything with a DPF. Major expense if you have to change one out. Just saying...

Anything with a DPF AND SCR is even more expensive if you have to change it out.

Gerry, when I had my emissions test done this year the tech showed me the new computer system awaiting installation. He said all diesels 08 and up will be tested with a probe and plugged in to the OBD2 port coming January /13. 07 and down will still be visual as they are now.

Picked it up today, filled it up with fuel it took about 42 gallons ($158.00).

Early Christmas gift to myself.

Mark thanks for postin pics, ive been wanting a Larger fuel capacity but will not put a tank in my bed. Ive checked those out online but its nice to see installed pics.
My dad has that same exhaust system & loves it (2 years or so by now), is too quite for me though which is why i went w/a MBRP Dual syatem.
Those systems were both very easy to install, everything comes in the box right to your door, the only way i do exhaust...lol
Merry Christmas

After around 15,000 miles, I changed the coolant filter, almost nothing in it , cleaned up the EGR Valve, a little dirty but not bad, got new batteries from Costco, cleaned up the EBP valve, cleaned and greased the spare tire winch, put the M/S tires to go south, replaced one flasher light, these are expensive here, $10.00 for two, they are 4157 light, wonder if some other number would fit?

Has any body experianced rough running on the first start of the day ? 2003 turbo diesel DRW with 78,000 miles . After the first couple mof rough minutes ,it runs fine . I hope it is only a fuel filter or the separator. It has been damp. How often should you change the fuel filters/ what are the dredded 80,000 mile warning signns for the 80,000 mile horror stories . Do they effect the 2003 6.0?

TOWING YOUR HOME

I ALSO TOW A 2011 5TH. WHEEL 39.4 ' TRAILER AND BOY DID I SINK IN THE REAR . I INSTALLED THE TIMBREN SUSPENSION . THIS WAS ONE OF MY BEST INVESTMENTS I HAVE EVER MADE. FOR THE $350 INSTALL + PARTS I GET 1/2" OF DROP IN THE REAR. NO LEAKY AIR SHOCKS , NO EXTRA SPRINGS , AND WHAT A DIFFERANCE.
