In Tucson (main part of the city) fuel is STILL 1.85 hasn't gone down a penny, gouge 'em while you can I guess. However, if you stop at TTT on I 10 on the SE side it is running around $1.40, on the NW side I drive to Eloy, 'bout half way between Phoenix and Tucson, the Flying J just sold me a fill up yesterday at $1.28!!!!!!!!!
$1.24.9 at Flying J and several other truck stops in Cheyenne, WY as of yesterday.
20-30 cents a gallon more at other places, mostly $1.47.9 to $1.49.9 in the Denver area. Cheapest at the truck stops along the interstates. In all cases, diesel is cheaper than regular gasoline right now.
I think there is some gouging going on right now, and it pays to shop around and arrange trips so you can fill up at the cheaper stations.
High of 1.99 here in DC Land, filled up Monday at 1.59.
What I still can't understand or hope what I think isn't true is why just across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge fuel is going for 1.39 or less. Seems the man is still getting it over on us.
on my last trip I stayed a day or two round St George, UT. One Shell station had diesel for $1.32; everywhere else in town was over $1.45 - It can pay to shop around.
Prices here in Jackson, Ga. 1.36 seems to be dropping. I usually get mine at wal-mart, 25 miles north or east but still 1.45 there. The prices varry so much it makes one wonder
The refineries in Alaska had an article in the newspaper about a year ago and someone asked why fuel was priced so high. The said, "cause you will pay for it". Stingy dirtbags.
I'm not sure what happened. I think the first thing we all need to do vote a bunch of the crooked. lawyer type senators and congressman out of office. I hear that shooting them is still against the law. As long as they own the oil companies. medical. insurance industries we will continue to take it in the shorts.. Sorry this one got me up on the soap box but I'm better now Well almost.
