frame width question

i need the front frame width of an 84 f150 2wd.
i have a nice bumper i got with my 67 f100 and i want to switch it to my new truck. i wanna know if it will bolt on or if i need to do some fab.

40 and 1/8th inches between the outside edges. That's from my 1984 F150 4wd (I don't believe there is a difference from the 2wd version)
