I am not sure how you got there. The '78 truck is 4" longer in wheelbase than your truck & 2" of it is behind the cab for sure. I said I am not certain where the other 2" is. The fuel tank will not fit. The bump people use a Mustang tank. I believe it is a '70.

I got to that conclusion because we had been on the road 23 hours straight. Haha Thanks for correcting my thoughts. I didn't think the setup would work. Luckily I have a 59 bed I can use instead.
