Towing with a 1990 Ford Bronco
I just purchased a camping trailer that I plan on towing with my 1990 Ford Bronco XLT with the 5.0 V8. The trailer has a gross towing weight of 4000lbs. Will my stock Bronco be sufficent? My biggest concern is the tranny? What about electric brakes?
Replys would be appreciated.

Yes you need electric brakes. Period.
As for the truck.. it'll tow the trailer but don't expect to be going anywhere fast, and that is assuming the truck has at least 3.55 gears and stock sized tires, if anything larger is fitted then you need gears right away or your transmission won't last the first trip. And speaking of the trans it will need a shift kit... assuming it is an AOD, if it's an E4OD you will need to install a large aux oil cooler, these things tend to run at the edge of thermal meltdown just driving around town so nothing the factory installed is big enough for towing.
