2000 F-250 Problems

2000 F-250 Problems
My dads 2000 F-250 with V-10, 265,000 miles has a few problems. He says the cruise is not working. He said you turn it on and set it the cruise light comes one for a second then goes out and the cruise don't work . Any thoughts?
Also he says his oil pressure gauge is fluctuating up and down alot which it never did before. He says it runs fine and no notice of anything that's makes it worse or better(idle or full throttle). I was thinking the oil sending unit might be toast, what do you guys think?
