92 F150 Stalling Issue

I have a 92 F150 with the 302 and overdrive trans with just over 204,000 miles and still going strong. An issue I have noticed with it that is becoming a major problem is it stalling but only after it's been sitting at a light or in a drive through and I give it some gas and let back off. It will surge then die. Also it is hard starting sometimes and takes 2 or 3 cranks to start like it's starving for fuel or over pressurized. I looked online and googled it and saw that it was some sort of valve possibly but cannot find the link again...
I am hoping to get this problem fixed within the next few days and hopefully it's a semi easy fix. As for it possibly being a fuel pump in one of the tanks, I do know I had the main inline pump at the frame I believe replaced a few months ago. The pumps inside the tank I have never changed (PO may have done this at some point but it would have been done several years ago).

Any info would be greatly appreciated here guys!

Your 1992 does not have an inline high-pressure pump like the 1989 and earlier EFI trucks. You should have a high pressure pump in each tank.

As far as the stalling issue take a look at the IAC (aka IAB). Here is some info: Fuel Injection Technical Library » Idle Air Bypass (IAB)

You may also want to run a self-test, both the KOEO and KOER and also check for any stored codes in CM.
Do this before spending a lot of money on the truck.

More information here on the self-test:
