Here is a good one for you to figure out. Just recently my van started shaking when I apply the brakes. The vibaration is the passenger front of the vehicle. This probelm only happens when the brakes are applied. When they are not applied there is no shaking or vibration. Both the brakes and the disks have been changed out. Wehn I changed them, I noticed that one coil attached to the stabilizer bar was broken. I was curious is this was the problem. I would appreciate some input. This van is a 94' Aerostar with 4.0L AWD with 106,000 miles on it.
One of the post broke on my 93 AWD about a year ago and it tended to act crazy in the fron t end and make knocking sound. I replaced the rubber bushings and put in hardened bolts. I used the Moog kits. Worked great & fixed the problem. Also had to adjust toe in and out.Rhe Moog kit is better than what Ford had in their.
