eh, i change it at 3k miles, then again, i dont have a wifey or munchkin yet....

oh i thought they were more than that.i only bought one so far and didn't remember well i guess.
changing it every 3k miles,is just swapping another new for new there Quintin.even a small filter would last longer than that probably.these things are pretty large fuel filters lol.though sometimes we can get crap from stations,im sure its not that bad.
if you add a 0 to your 3k and go 30k i think you'll be safe.

I do my maintence like this cause its a farm habit XD! I run red-dye sometimes and Eastern montana is windy as hell, causing dusty conditions and when im filling crap gets in there somehow....

That and my dad stocked up on enough of these filters for his IDI, i got 40 of them in a cabinet....

I change mine about every 10K miles or once a year, about every other oil change. With the garbage you get for fuel, there's no way I would stretch it out to 60K miles.

Mine cost about $43 from NAPA, but it's the one that has the water separator built in. I think the regular replacement one was $25ish.

I know where the WIF light is, but where is the 'FUEL FILTER' light? I guess I could get off my lazy butt and go look.......
