Apart from this all new 6-litre W12, Durheimer is looking at several other alternative powerplants, including Bentley’s new 4-litre twin-turbo V8 (recently debuted in the 2012 Continental GT), a six-cylinder hybrid drivetrain and, most controversially of all, a powerful V8 diesel engine for the European market in particular."

That thing is nice. I like the 600 Hp.

Vehicle like that is just completely and utterly pointless.

 

If you notice the one in the picture it is left hand drive. Bet they arn"t many of these.

 

I bet there are... the rest of the world on the whole doesn't share our obsession with large vehicles.

 

If you own a giant ranch, oil field, or you are a Sheik I can see it coming in handy.

For the same $$$, I'd completely rebuild an X, Buy a new Mustang GT, and probably still have some left

 

look at the tires on that thing... even if it had lockers front and rear (which it probably doesn't) it would still get stuck the first time it hits more than an inch of mud. Its got no ground clearance either. You'd be better off with a damn toyota highlander on your ranch or oilfield!

 

Think the Bentley will price around $300k +

For that I'd have 2 full custom bulletproof Ex's w Bentley style interiors

+ a Ford GT

 

Has a lot of styling ques from the Audi Q7.

A few more upgrades and my X will be at 600hp, however I do not think I could get pass a diesel station.

 

This is so true, peopel just don't get the size of large SUVs and the reason for them. The Bentley is cool, if that is what you want then get it.

 

Allows people with more money than they know what to do with to drive across the desert in style

 

600 HP just makes you notice how ugly it is faster

 

with 5" of ground clearance (maybe), 600 hp, street tires on what are those 22 or 24" wheels, and (probably) no locking diffs, does any one think this would make it more than 10 feet into a desert without buying itself to the sills?
