New sticker!

I put a new sticker on my 86 to show everyone that I saved her from the scrap heap.

Well, that's a novel approach. I guess many of us have saved our trucks. Hmmm.

I too saved my F150 from the scrapyard. Can't say I'll be going out and buying that sticker, but I sure am glad I saved the old girl and gave her a new lease on life!

Yes, even CRusty was headed to the scrap yard had I not redeemed him. Just think of the E'brock manifold, Holley carb, Interstate battery, new aluminum radiator, and recent tires that would have met their demise - not to mention all of the crust and grunge.

That's a good idea, but it's a little big for me. And, I wonder if people will really know what it means. But it is a good idea.

Cool. Good job saving that truck, Fastolds. I'm glad that truck didn't meet the scrapyard.

I like it. Folks driving new cars probably wouldn't normally observe a person driving one of these old trucks as a recycler or "green". But seeing that sticker may help them make the connection and think differently about it.

I agree with you, Galendor. Buy what is already out there in the secondary market instead of buying new. It happens to be more environmently friendly than buying new (at least in my opinion).

I agree with you too, Galendor. And my father was about to sell my truck to the junkyard before I jumped in and "recycled" it. Now he wishes he still had it.

yeah, its a little big, but its not like this truck blends in anyway. I'm always trying to make a statement. my olds has one that reads "this is my hybrid, it burns rubber and gas."
