My boost gauge solution
The app is called "Torque", and it accesses the truck's computer via a bluetooth-enabled OBD2 scanner. It can scan and display many parameters, just like a Scangauge, and that includes boost. It allows you to completely customize how you want your gauges to be displayed (digital, dial, graph, etc), you can have multiple screens with different gauges, it does performance testing (0-60, etc), it can read and clear codes, it uses the phone's GPS to track your trips and average speed, etc. Just a ton of info, and if you're a nerd like me, it's perfect.

The gauges seem to be very responsive, and it plays fine with the truck's own bluetooth, I was using my phone to both run Torque and listen to online radio via bluetooth audio over Sync, and both worked perfectly.

This is the OBD2 sensor I used:
Amazon.com: BAFX Brand - ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light and other diagnostics - Android compatible: Car Electronics
Note, according to the folks who make Torque, some of those cheap OBD2 sensors like mine don't work well with Ford computers. I decided to roll the dice, and mine works fine, but your mileage may vary.
Here is how it looks running in my truck:

I know it looks like it sticks out quite a bit, but I haven't bumped it yet.
By the way, my phone is an HTC Rezound from Verizon, running Android 2.3.5. The dock is from this guy: Smartphone Docks That Work With Cases and Extended Batteries!!! Free USPS Shipping on Orders Over $50 USA ONLY
