How do I...
So I need some information on how to re-do a bad heater core job, shocks, and help locate coolant leaks. Right now the truck has no coolant in it that I can see. The plastic radiator coolant thing does have fluid in it but not enough, way under the mark that it says on the tank. So what should I do?
Easiest way to find leaks would be to buy or borrow a radiator pressure tester, fill the radiator with antifreeze, and pressurize the system to 13 (ish) psi. Any leaks will be quickly obvious unless its a headgasket
Heater core is stupid easy. Take the glove box off and you are looking at the cover for the heater core. Unscrew the cover and pull it out. The all aluminum replacement cores don't fit well but people shove them in anyway. The copper/brass ones are the best fit.
Im by high point state park, in wantage about 4 minutes from the sussex in.
