Great tire! I ran them for 2 years (34,000 miles) on my Explorer (33x12.5R15s), both on and off-road. I replaced a set of BFG M/Ts with them and never regretted my decision. They are better in the snow and in the mud. They clean out with way less wheel spin than the BFGs did. They were quieter on the road too. Once they got down to 50% I put then on my trail rig and they still perform great. If I still wheeled the Explorer, I would have bought another set. When the current ones on the trail rig are too worn, General M/Ts are whats going back on it (in a 35" this time though). If they made them in a 16.5 I would put them on the F-250 too.
i run general grabber AP, and they are ok... i liked my firestone stock tires better, but they lost tread, and were recalled, and theses were given to me, for free, they are a great tire...
they do well on/off road and in water/snow..
only been stuck once, and anything would have gotten stuck, and they were able to get me out on their own, it was a big mud puddle about 4 feet deep that lookd like dry land, and i sunk down... amazing that i was able to get out...
