Interior mission!!
Hey ya'll, I'm new to the forum! My name is Matt. I just purchased a 55 f100...
Now I have something to fiddle with for the next couple months, or year, or 3. But anyways back to my question, customizing my interior after I get everything else done. I was thinking a center console like the picture below. Or kind of like my 05 f150 king ranch!
Any websites or companies I can buy consoles like this for my 55? Any consoles from newer trucks that fit good in a 55? Thank you fellas!

Welcome to the best F-100 board ever!! you can browse the board and see there are several guys who have used consoles. I think your best bet is to hit the salvage yards and find something you like then make it fit, If you can find one that has been made for your 55 it will cost out the wazoo & still need some modifications. I made one years ago for my 55 out of sheet metal and covred it with material, I since takn it out and went with a bench style seat to hold more bodies.

Welcome Matt, Its good to have you on board.I dont know about your console question but what I did when I first got my truck, was to buy a copy of a vintage truck magazine ( classic trucks, custom classic trucks, true blue oval, mags like those), and sent away for every ford catalog that was advertising in them. I drewled over these while i worked on the essentials, brakes, steering ect. and as time went on what i wanted to do with my truck became more apparent. As I have just met you maybe you already know what you want , I dont know. Ive just seen a person or two get there truck home very excited wich you should be, and spend alot of $ b4 they have had a chance to think and then get frustrated and sell there truck, Id hate to see that happen to you, Building one of these old girls is a woderful experience, and you have found the best site out there for friendly, knowalgeble help.
