there is only one side effect of that happening though.

Bruce will become totally unbearable, instead of the persistent thorn in our sides he is now.

The 17-year-old Hendrickson won Saturday's first competition with two jumps of 99.5 meters to beat Japan's Sara Takanashi, who had jumps of 98.5 and 99.5 meters.
Hendrickson then wrapped up the overall title by finishing second to Takanashi in the second event with another jump of 95.5 meters.
Daniela Iraschko of Austria was third in the first event, and Ulrike Graessler of Germany third in the second event.
Hendrickson won the inaugural World Cup meet in Lillehammer, Norway, on Dec. 3 and followed that with six first-place finishes. She has an insurmountable 295-point lead in the World Cup standings over Iraschko with two competitions remaining.

That's an excerpt, gets the point across. 17 years old too!!!

And she's cute too!

From: Long Beach, Ms.
I attended the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria where one of the events I attended was the 90 meter jump.
That's where the contestant starts at the top of a 200' tall ramp and flings themselves into space while maneuvering their skis as some sort of atmospheric glider.

Well it looks like Lyndsey Van is not the big name in Women's Ski Jumping any more.
Bruce give her our best wishes!

She's experienced the thrill of victory.

Here's hoping she never experiences the agony of defeat.

(With all deference to Jim McKay).

Thanks Clux. But more than defeat, I worry about a serious crash! Freaks me out to watch!
