Choke..... I'm embarrased

Some time ago, as builds go, I bought a triple deuce carb set-up for my 54 Flattie. Recently I realized that the carbs (center primary) didn't come with any type of choke.
I called Speedway where I bought them and they said yeah, they never could get Demon Carbs to address this problem... BUT Demon went out of business and was bought by someone else. They (Speedway) gave me a number to call for the new company to see if they were going to do anything... After a month or two (in build-years you understand) I called the number which was not in service.......

Has anyone had a similar problem, any suggestions? I feel like an idiot.

Steve
I just meet a guy who had a pair of this carbs on a 239ci flathead in a 32 five window. I ask him how they ran and he was not happy. He could not get them to start worth a darn. They kept wanting to “load up” his term. I asked him some question about jetting, power valves, and fuel pressure. At this point he told me he had no idea what I was talking about. I let him know I would tune them for him. I was able to get these tuned to start and run nice. If you have a good setup on these a choke is not really needed. I also found his timing off. I make sure timing is correct before I touch a carb, you would not believe how often a carb gets blamed for timing issues. Here is a video of the setup after I was done tuning. You can contact me if you want any information on a setup.

Well, you're not in the bitter cold of the nawth, so I'd just pump it a couple of times! If I leave my choke on more than 10 - 15 seconds, it starts to misfire anyway, a manual throttle to keep revs up works best. (that's with single carb)

Tom, WOW, I sure would like it if mine started like that. Right now it won't start. I haven't done any trouble shooting yet. I've gotta check my spark, as it's not even popping. I would love to find a "local" who could set mine up for me.
THANKS for the encouragement though, it IS my expectation that it should start just that easy.....
