Trashed the electrochromatic mirror for a regular...
Got tired of the electrochromatic inside rear view mirror and headed to the junkyard for a regular Ford mirror...
Found one from an F450, but it was nasty... Went over to an Expedition and scored!
The original electrochromatic mirror was delaminating and was difficult to see through... The one from the Expedition, while I'd have to flip it if bright lights are behind me, it is better - and bigger that the original.
One thing I could not figure out originally, was finding the set-screw to release the mirror. Puling it firmly, it has a clip, instead
