NV 273

I am trying to find out if I can run a NV273 or 271 upside down, I am building a new drive train for a 54 Dodge out of a 351 Windsor and a ZF five speed I am hoping to use the NV273 but I need the front to come off the passenger side. I have not been able to find any technical info on this transfer case.

the 273 has a oil pickup and and oil pump if you install it upside down the slot where it picks up oil will be on the top that is really the only issue I can think of if you could figure out how to relocate that
