Well, today I had my usual session of homeschooling my daughter, then I went with my sister to the pound to look for a dog for her. They had some more coon hounds, almost took them home to play with the other coon hound I have, but the wife would have flipped.
I tried elk liver 10 mins ago,
and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth Maybe we didn't cook it right, but man, oh man was that something. The hound seemed to love it though
At least if we get drawn this year, I will let my father in law have all the liver he wants.

The first meal sounds good
. I am down to try it again, but have someone else cook it who has cooked it before. I have had beef liver before, and it was good, I expected this to be better than the beef, but for some reason it wasn't. Couldn't get the taste out of my mouth.
