I have a tankless here but its natural gas & I love it........
Steve tryed a water heater along with the electric tankless & thats where it went wrong
but I think gas is better, just my .02

Don, I believe that it is an electric tankless water heater and I would think that it would not be able to heat the water as quick as a gas one would. Steve did mention at one point that the gas was on the roof of the building and it would cost some big $$$$$ to get it ran down to the shop.

Yeah the electrics cant keep up. I use a gas fired water heater at home. I wish I had the tankless option but I dont.

Electric tankless heaters are NOT available up here any more...

That they do Don. I have a 40 gallon water heater at home. That is the biggest I can put in in its current l;ocation.

We have a 50 gallon power vent LP water heater here. The only time that we notice that we are about ready to run out of hot water is when we fill the whirlpool tub and then someone takes a shower right after filling it.

Neil our water heater is natural gas. We dont have a power vent unit. Ours exhuasts right into the chimney which is also used by the furnace.
