Whats It Worth????
I have a 73 model 351 C 2V with auto trans (FMX?, C-4 ?)out of a mustang and was wondering what would it be worth? It ran when it was pulled, but that's all I know about the engine, so it would be fair to say it would be good for a rebuild. I realize it depends greatly on geographic area as well (I live in NC). What would be a fair "ballpark" price for the combo? I have no idea and dont see many in the local trader papers.

$500-$600? pretty optimistic, not in car, can't hear run, don't know how the trans shifts,. how long has it been sitting? and is it sealed up? or are all the holes open, carb, dist, plugs,exhaust? flathead says it probably needs a rebuild, $350 sounds like a pretty good offer. especially being picked up!
