just got back from taking a few videos, seems like its what you guys are saying right around 4500rpm its shifting. Drove the truck around and got it to operating temps before taking the videos, i took three with the 87P tune and i took two videos running the stock OEM tune. Its been at least seven or eight months since i drove bone stock and besides the trans being a little firmer when shifting i cant tell no difference at all. Truck shifts at same RPM settings in either tune, TQ lock is a little firmer but not like o my god thats a major difference. Motor wise doesnt feel any different in power, but im running 4.30 gears so it pulls hard anyways. Right now im running stock for a few days, i removed both the negative and positive battery cabels for tonight and left the head light switch on so it completely drains the PCM of power so i can let the truck relearn stock over this weekend. Ill reinstall the 87P tune monday morning and see what happens

seems weird to me that all the you tube videos are higher then 4500rpm? Guys must be runing tuners and saying truck is stock then, because stock or tuned my trucks hitting 4500rpm either way. And that my 2valve work van shifts at 5k at WOT?

thats weird, i have 3.73s and i think my truck pulls pretty hard. and his tunes made a noticable difference. although, my SPD y pipe made a HUGE difference. i felt it as soon as i was leaving the shop i installed it at. id look into one of those if i were you. but anyways, i dont want to put mine back to stock because it was such a dog there, with the tunes on my truck it feels like it does factory and right now im in 87economy. i ran 87 perf for a few days and i felt a slight difference

Pretty sure he doesn't touch the rev limiter and it should be around 5300rpm across the board. Mine is set at 5300rpm tuned and was that way from factory.

well either he changed mine to 5600rpm or my tuner is wacked out! I checked again before changing back to stock and its set to 5600rpm?

i started with 3.73 gears stock, then i had 4.30 installed. Im also running a Helix power tower plus, gibson headers, y-pipe upgrade, a higher flowing cat and borla straight through muffler. So stock or tuned the motor pulls the same to me, no seat of the pants difference at all from what my butt says

really? i usually think everything makes a difference and its just in my head, but even my dad and a few of my friends said "wow this thing pulls much harder now" with the y pipe. the tuner just made driveability nicer

when i welded in the SPD y-pipe i was like o that made a difference, but changing over from that so called crap Superchip to the SCT wasn't like O MY GOD WHAT A DIFFERENCE it was just "o the trans performs alot nicer now", power wise was the same.

yeah im not really sure if my tuner made a big power difference, i just can tell you driving is a lot easier now it seems. trans doesnt downshift all the time which is very nice. if gas wasnt so damn expensive id like to try out the 93 octane performance tune, but no way im paying 440 for premium

i hear yea, yes it made driving better but i dont know. I too wish i could see what the 93P tune will do. But gas is crazy and im not going to spend 430 a gallon just to run a tune that ill run once just to see and then go back to regular gas the next day

As I said before if I reset the memory in the computer it will take quite a few miles before the truck feels the same as it did prior with the tune. Its a big difference. I've found you have to give the tune changes some time or your going nowhere.

The tuner isn't adding a lot of power as it gets more of the gains by putting more power to the ground. It is not going to be some earth shattering difference like on a forced induction engine. But the difference is noticable.

i called Sun Coast yesterday and Wednesday mornings, no one picked up but i left my name and number on their answer service and never received a call back yet, i even emailed customer service yesterday afternoon and didn't receive a email back yet also. Ill wait today if not i will call again Monday and keep trying i suppose. the 2-3 shift is still harsh for some reason, and i think its just maybe in the programming because another member is having the same issues with his 5.4 powered 4R100 SD truck also
