Tire question

Is it OK to run a 10.5" tire on a 7" rim? I have a set of 31x10.50's on my 88 Bronco on 8" rims and was going to keep the tires and put on a different set of rims but the other rims are only 7".

Tire question

Sure they will fit but they will probably wear in the middle and may even handle funny.

Tire question

They will work if you'll want to switch rims. Why are you switching rims?

Tire question

I ran 31x10.50's on the stock 7.5" rims on my 92 for a long time. Not sure about dropping another 0.5" though.

Tire question

Skagit, I'm wanting to switch rims because I am experiencing a good bit of vibration at highway speeds (60+mph) and I do a lot of highway driving (30+miles to work). I went to have my tires balanced and was told that my rims were warped. They went ahead and balanced the tires but it didn't do much good. I found a set of rims that matched the grey steel with chrome rings and hub covers that I have now, however they are 7" instead of 8" like I have.
