In my opinion, I would find it hard to believe that both fuel pumps have gone bad at once.
I would troubleshoot electrical and make sure they are getting power first. Of course, if what Bill states is true and they are all gummed up then they would have to come out to be cleaned, along with the fuel tanks themselves. and the lines flushed and filters changed.

Electrical is not really my thing but I have a multimeter and I'm stubborn so I will probably figure something out.

I agree, it is more likely there is a single (electrical) problem affecting both pumps than the chance that both pumps failed at the same time.
A multimeter would be ideal, a test light could suffice, I guess.
I also agree that removing the bed is far from the best (or even easiest) way of getting at the tanks.

on the fuel filter...the smaller of the 2 is the fuel line going into the fuel filter. This needs to come off first. best to use a tubing wrench. Looks like the box end of a combination wrench but has a small section cut out so that you can get it over the tubing and then on the the fitting. If you're using the open end of a wrench or a cressent wrench...yeah they like to round off. Once you have that off...then the filter will come out of the carb...should be able to just use a cressent on that as it shouldn'g be all that tight.
as for the relay...I don't have a good enough wiring diagram for you truck to tell what all those are. But on the right side you see the main lead coming off that should go down to the starter. There are several other smaller wires on that side of the solenoid as well. One of those goes to your fuel pumps when in "start". Someone else can probably tell you exactly which one.

Grab hold of the bigger one (large Crescent wrench should do) but use the proper tool for the smaller one (which needs to come off first) - flare nut wrenches, e.g.

I don't have a wiring diagram for this year, perhaps others will chime in.
I see something that makes me raise one eyebrow in a Spock-like fashion, though.... that yellow wire leading to what looks like a relay with a red wire on the other side (I highlighted with orange dots).
I have no idea what that is... the yellow wire kinda looks factory, the relay looks like it could be factorym but those taped connections are certainly NOT.
I doubt that's your problem but I don't know what that is.
BTW, dude, learn to shrink/resize your images? You're posting monsters, people on dialup are gonna consider you a mortal enemy.

I know what you mean bud....sometimes working on old cars can get frustrating when it don't go the way it should. Hang in there man!!! step away from it...think about it and take another run at it.
Not sure if the fitting is completely unrecoverable or not. But if it's a complete loss get some penetrating fluid on there (BP Blaster or something like that). After it soaks try to get some vise grips on there and see if you can get it off. You can always replace that section if it's too bad.
