I put a 4 inch Pro Comp lift on my 92 Bronco and had a vibration in the rear end. I put a set of shims in the rear that didn't have markings on them. The fat part measures one half inch and it took most of the vibration out but not all. Anyone know what degree that thickness of shim that might be and what I might try next?
U Joints are all good and I am putting a new Pinion bearing in because it was a little worn.
I know all susp. lifts vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but my 4" lift only required the use of the factory shims. They are about .5" thick at the narrow end and about 1" at the wide end.
If Pro comp didn't address the issue in the installation instructions, I'd be on the phone to them, myself.
The Pro Comp system did not intermingle with the blocks/shims that were already on there and the PC ones didn't have an angle The first lift I ever put on was a Tuff Country and it was much easier for the novice.
