6.0 vacuum problem

6.0 vacuum problem
The wife's 6.0 Excursion's vacuum pump will run until I plug the white vacuum intake port, then it shuts off and stays off. I have only tested this while the truck is not running. I'm pretty new to chasing vacuum leaks that aren't openly visible.
Any ideas on where to start? I haven't noticed any heater or A/C issues. Thanks!
