TPMS reference new tires?

If I install new tires will the TPMS still work? Do I have to get new stems? Lots of you folks put new tires on, what did you do. Thanks

If you change tires and wheels, you will need new sensors or you will have to remove the sensors from your OEM set. If your just changing tires and keeping your OEM wheels, you can keep your sensors on.

Can anyone tell me how the sensors work? I've never seen evidence of TPMS on this truck.
