I found 55 MPH to be a perfect speed for higher MPG when I was testing out things after buying it.
Problem is, I like to drive fast.

Prob off topic, what is you boat? I am trading a 18' tracker fish/ski for a starcraft 22 i/0.

Crestliner 19'2" on a shorelander bunk trailer. Tournament Series 192WT (Walk Through). With a Merc 200 Opti and 9.9 pro kicker

The Stratos was a 21' boat with a 200 Johnson but was fiberglass and the trailer was not a full tubular frame like the shorelander.

I have been waiting to get pictures of the new set up untill I get tie downs, hitch and tires sorted out. But I do have pics of the rig on the 2500HD if you want a look see...

Do want to see. My tracker was a whimper version of your boat, liked it though.. Wife wanted "more" pleasure boat.

Compromised on /starcraft 22/1/o...I think.....

The same here. I get a noticeable difference between 55 and 65. Another drop around 70. I try to keep it at 55 but it is hard!

Yeah, in this exuberance it is a huge difference to go sown to 55 mph (mph) Probably what they rated it at, but hard to do for the long term. I just did it with older trailer......(concerned about wheels)
