First scratch and dent

Three weeks ago I was merging onto an exit and bam! Idiot next to me decides he needs to exit from the center lane, jumping the curb, with his old Ford Taurus wagon. Needless to say he didn't make the exit but left me with 3k in damage. Luckily, it was mostly rear door damage and scrapes. Front door, rear quarter, and flare re-painted. Rear door totally replaced(Ford) and painted. No damage to inner rocker or rear door pillar. Truck is fixed now with no signs of carnage. Big thanks to Jerry at Ultimate Collision in Edison

It was at night, but with all the lights a blind dog could see it. He admitted he screwed up and was issued a ticket

At least it is fixable, but still a pain to go through..........

That looks painful but glad it's fixed.
At least you didn't do it.
Can't say that about my run-in with a dogwood!
Oh well, things can be fixed.
Does your truck have the flake in it and if so, everything matches in the sunlight?

Now that I've been driving an SD daily, people pull out in front of these trucks more than I would expect.
I don't know what the deal is, not that your incident was related to this example.

The paint is gorgeous. I guess if it had to happen, new paint is easier to match.

It amazes me how people don't see these trucks....if I'm in the Mustang...I'm dead!

That is a big ouchie. Glad they got you all fixed back up.

At least I'm not the only one having a problem with people pulling out in front of my beast. I've never had so many close calls since I got this truck.

Maybe these things are just too shiny and they are "blinded by the light"!

I got my first dent in my tailgate when I was installing the EZ Down. Got pissed during installation and threw the tailgate up too hard and dented it with my hand at the very top right below the man step. Metal is way too thin on there.

Hey Andy, that's a *itch!! I bet you were none too happy. Spend all this money on your truck and have some idiot in a junker hit you. Reminds me of when I had some bookcases fall onto my 08 while I had them out drying from a varnish coat. Wind blew them into the rear door and rear fender. $2,300 later. Anyway, glad you got her fixed to your satisfaction.

I guess I would have felt a little better had it been a BMW or Mercedes
