oil pressure cutoff switch

Got a 1991 Oshkosh chassis with a ford 460 drive train

The oil pressure safety switch has failed and I am trying to find one that will plug right in. or at least find a similar one with a pigtail I can wire in, any thoughts

Autozone shows an Airtex os75 for $13.00 (oil pressure safety switch)

Has to be special ordered. Can be picked up at the store or purchased
on line and shipped to you.

Looks like a it's a common part used on the 7.5 engines.

Does it look like this?

Appears 3 female connector terminals come with it.

I did a search for a 91 F250 with a 7.5 liter.

It looks very much like the one in your photo, it is a long black tube with three prongs inside and the plug is shaped like the letter D to fit in. I have it jumpered like you show just to drive it around the neighborhood

I can use a diff switch if I can get a matching pigtail to splice into my harness, I have almost no room becuase all the smog crap is blocking access.

oil switch

Just posting for everyones referance, I had trouble finding that same part for my 85 F250 with the 460 and hot fuel system, dealer can get them and part number is EOAZ9287A, the O could be a zero or an oh but it is the right part number. Hope it helps someone else out.

E0 (zero) means it is a 1980 part number.

Wierd, it's identical to the one I took off my 85, same connector and all, could it have replaced an old part number? The Ford dealership looked it up and it matched mine so I went with it, was the only place I had any luck finding anything like it.

Sorry I hit the wrong key, I edited the above post. F0 would be 1990.
