Recovered Dash Pads
#36
I would be interested in a black over red two tone with red stitching. Also I would be interested in a set of black door panels. email me @ asdtlink@shaw.ca we can discuss more. I do not have a dash pad or door panels but I can get some if you need them for covering.
Thanks

Found an old template I made a long time ago, wasnt planning on using one in my truck, and I made one of these dash covers up today. Came out pretty dang nice. Ill be selling these for anyone who wants one. Black ones wont have a seam down the middle, ones done in off colors will to save on material cost, unless you pay for the extra material. These are 1/4" padded also.
Trying to decide on price, but I think $150 shipped is what Ill do these for, especially since this is my own design. Yes, I know triple the cost of one of those cheap ones, but consider the quality and made to order. Much nicer than those cheapy velour or carpet ones. These look cool and can cover up or protect a dash.
This first ones for sale. $100 shipped, due to the seam and a couple changes Id like to make for future ones.
Ill get more pictures tomorrow with some better light and up against my covered dash pad.

If you want an original uncovered pad go with a nice new factory tooled one. If you dont then why not spend around the same amount for one custom covered with a french seam?
heres what a pad looks like before I cover it. Foam helps get a perfectly smooth top once I block sand it smooth, plus I like the way it looks and feels. Then I make the cover with my templates I have and glue and fit it to the pad. Adhesive is professional grade upholstery, specifically made for high heat, and shot out of a gun. No rattle can stuff.Theres some more prep work invloved but foaming is the main thing I do before covering.
