Is there anyway to find out what wheels originaly came on my truck? When I bought it someone had put a set of after market 20" wheels and I'm thinking of going back to stock.
either steel with or without hub caps, or the aluminum.... if its a king ranch, then it had the king ranch, if it's the H-Davidson, then it had those... hate to break the bad news, but they may have been 20" factory wheels...
put up some pix and see if you can swing a trade with someone...
The door jam says 18". Did they only make one aluminium wheel for that year? If so does anyone have the part number. Its a lariat so I would guess it came with the alloy wheels. The link below is what is on the truck know.
I don't want to add fender flares but with the larger wheel and tire the truck needs them. Also hoping that the smaller wheels might help fuel mileage. I think the taller tire reduces gear ratio so that should also hurt in towing.
it will help, that is a good reason to change em... as long as yours are in good shape it should not be hard to trade them off... for the factory style.
you can pick the factory 18" or 20" maybe next thing is to consider is the cost of replacement tires... Oh ya, dont forget about the TPMS...
Here's what I had on my 2008. I think they had the same wheels throughout the 08 - 10 years. These are 18". I really liked them. Been thinking about finding some for my 2011 even.
I found a set of 2011s on Craigslist. They are a little different than those 2008s but still not a bad looking wheel. Do you know if the offset and all are the same as the 2010?
