Odometer reading is off
In addition to that my speed setting has always been off to my tire size since they replaced the brain.
I would like to acurately set my mileage back to what it should be especially since i keep such detailed records of my services. MT is one of a few states with no consumer protection nor extensive vehicle records thus there are many dealers here that role back mileage even on computerized vehicles. I know because my little bother worked for one who used to do it to Canadian fords that he imported till he was arrested and closed down for drug trafficing.
I want to know if i can roll my mileage forward to get an accurate reading, i have documentation and a notorized certificate of actual mileage & the title says odometewr mileage is not actual mileage, i am also aware of the legalities with odometer adjustments. I have been told that rolling it forward is a different proceedure than back? The state suggested i just find a ford dealer to re-adjust it but the local ford dealer and i dont have a very healthy relationship since the local court and i nailed them to the wall for a fraudulant repair schedule they were applying to unsuspecting non-warranty customers including an attempt on my wallet.
Also i want to know how to adjust to a tire size of 34.45 Odiameter what code would that be. and what procedure do i go through to adjust
Dusty
If this string evolves into a dialog about anything illegal like ways to commit odometer fraud and rolling back odometers the moderators will have to lock it. I am not sure of the legality of an individual rolling an odometer forward. Please be mindful of the legality of what you write since this topic is questionable (boarder line)on its legality and could prove troublesome to FTE and its users.

My friend just bought a replacement speedo from the dealer and they rolled it forward for him. He changed it himself.
Just my opinion,
John
