I bought a used PMT from someone, and as I found out it is locked. The guy said it was unmarried before he sold his truck. Under settings there is no VIN listed just a black bar, and model shows **** ***** *****, so I dont know where to go from here. Keeps saying to put original truck back to stock. I think he didnt return the tire size back. was listed as 35, not default. I contacted bully dog several times, No return answer or email.

Any tips or tricks? Ive read there may be a code to put in? A piticular button sequence perhaps. I just dont want to toss it and lose out.

I think I may have to wait for a reponse from them, giving up hope tho. lol

 

Your experience with BullyCrap's technical support is very typical.

Since you've e-mailed them, have you tried calling them?

 

Called them, They want $100 to give me a reset procedure. I dont want to invest that much more. So I guess in the trash ot goes. Figured someone would know the way to unlock it.

 

Was able to get it unlocked thru bullydog. Found the problem was the tire size was not reset when it was unmarried. But they helped me get it unlocked. Great results since it was installed. Performed the Hutch Mod as well. Took it on vacation with the family. 730 miles on full tank at 18 mpg.
