So finally i got a little time to tack weld in the rear lower crossmember, shock and airbag mounts will come later. But at least now i can remove that old, PO butchered crossmember just behind it and move on to the rear suspension/ SC400 IRS. John

Got a chance for an initial trial fit of my engine and trans, looks like it will fit back onto the stock Lexus engine mounts....so i might only have to build a trans mount crossmember. And looks like it will fill the engine bay nicely. john

Thanks mate, LOL

still a long way to go of course, but yeah its getting there slowly. Kinda exciting to have an engine sitting in it now,and i like the way the off the shelf headers fit with no dramas too. John

I ordered some new engine mounts, so whilst i am waiting for them to turn up i thought i might start on the dash conversion to RHD.
I bought a LHD (left hand drive) dash from another Aussie FTE member so i started with that. After some head scratching i marked it out for the initial cuts, and have now tacked the glovebox area back in. More pics to come as i progress.
