I need to replace the shackle bushings on my 92.How hard is it to do?Do I need any special tools?
I also need my tranny rebuilt.I have the Mazda 5 spd.I know about the rubber plugs in the top that leak,but it makes noise when the clutch is not pressed in.I can here it in all gears even nutral.Anybody have this done?I was thinking of getting a price if I pull it out and one if they pull it out.
Look in the 83 Bronco photo album in my signature link - near the bottom, there are some pics of me changing those bushings on mine and the captions give some hints. Before you buy the bushings you have to know if your shackle bushings have a thin metal sleeve or not.
