Ok..I'm going into the dealer tomorrow to order a new truck.

Ecoboost
HD Payload
Max-Tow
Convenience
XLT Plus
Bucket Seats
Black Platform Steps (hope they have more room than the tubes)
Keypad
Factory Spray on Liner (if available)
Golden Bronze
Current Ford stockholder and I'm using x-plan to purchase the truck.
I plan on trading the wifes old car (2000 Lincoln LS) in but not sure if I should bring it up tomorrow or wait until the truck arrives. Any thoughs on the timing of this?
Once you place your order you can track it over on F150online, then discussions, then scroll down to Ford Vehicle Build Tracking. I haave an Expedition on order and they will keep you up to date on the build and shipment of your truck.
Once you come together on a price for the truck you can tell them about the trade in. They'll ask you before hand and just tell them no. They can hide costs and confuse you by trying to deal on both vehicles at the same time. I would also go to edmunds.com and look at their articles on car buying. They have some excellent advice to make sure you get the best price possible.
Took about 15 minutes this morning. Waiting on the order to be accepted. We are going to put the FX2/FX4/Lariat style running boards on after it get here. He also talked me out of the spray in bed liner due to Ford only giving me a 3/36000 mile warranty and could get better warranty with Line-X.
As far as pricing goes I'm using x-plan so the price is set by FoMoCo.
In case you didn't order yet I highly recommend the backup camera if you frequently pull a trailer. There are reference points on the dash that make lining up the trailer hitch and ball a piece of cake.

I pull a trailer every day all summer long and didn't know this. Thanks for the info. I'll get the camera on my next truck. Is the screen on the mirror like the Escape?
Got the order confirmation from the dealer today. Looks like yesterday when they ordered it they put the Chrome and HD package together (which you can't do) and it caused a little delay. All is good now except for the wait.
When I ordered my wifes Taurus-X in 2008 they gave me and order number and I had the guys over at BON track it for me through the assembly process, the train ride from Chicago down to the rail station in San Antonio for delivery to Austin.
On this order I didn't see a specific order number on the sheet just 0000 with a priorty of 10 and order type X.
Ask them for the DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment), it is a piece of paper Ford sends back to the dealer after they accept the order. It will list everything that was ordered (good to check and make sure its all correct) and should have the proper order number.
